The error indicates there is an invalid character in the Client Notes schedule in the tax return.
Remove any special characters from within the Tax Form Notes schedule, e.g. < >.
Review the client's Related Client in the Edit Client Details window, and ensure it is a valid reference in your tax database.
Note: Add all item notes to the Notes not to be lodged schedule. You cannot add notes to individual items.
