Access Tax - CMN.ATO.AUTH.001 The agent number used with your ABN or credential is not related in Access Tax

This issue can occur when agent details in Tax do not match the details that are in the Tax Agent Portal.

  1. Log in to Tax.

  2. Click the Settings cog at the top right of the screen.

  3. Click on the Agents tab on the left and then click on an agent hyperlink.

  4. Ensure that the agent details match what is listed on the Tax Agent Portal. The ABN field being incorrect is the most common cause.

For further assistance, contact the ATO to confirm your Agent Details match your ABN.
