đNote: If you need to purchase an additional Access Tax user licence, submit a finance query through MyAccess. If you already have an available licence, follow the steps below to add the user to your practice.
You can add users to Access Tax in two ways. Both methods require you to be an Administrator or the Integration Administrator.
If the Add User button is missing, reauthorisation is required.
Add users in Access Tax
Log in to Access Tax.
Click the Practice Settings icon, then click Users.
To add a user, click +Add Practice User.
Enter a valid email address.
Click Add User to Practice.
To update user details, select the user to open the Edit Practice User window.
Enter or update the required information.
Click Save.
Click OK to return to the Practice Settings.
Once you add a new user, they will receive a welcome email. The user must select the link in the email to create their password and register for multi-factor authentication (MFA).
The Add User button is missing
If the Add User button does not appear, the Integration Server administrator can reauthorise Access Tax, or continue to add users in Integration Server.
â ď¸Important: The Integration Server administrator must complete the following steps.
Reauthorise Access Tax
Log in to Access Tax as the Integration Server administrator.
Select Practice Settings, then click Integration.
Click Authorise.
Add users in Integration Server
To add a user through Integration Server:
Log in to Integration Server as the system administrator.
Cick User Management.
Click Add User.
Enter the user's details, including their email address.
Click + Assign.
Select the practice.
Click Assign, and assign the required roles and product access as needed.
Click Save.
