Access Tax - Return Not Necessary in Access Tax

Mark a tax return as Return Not Necessary

  1. Log in to Tax.

  2. Click Clients at the top left and then click on Updates.

  3. Search for the clients or accounts in the list.

  4. Click the Checkbox next to the client reference on the left.
    ​Note: Users can select multiple clients.

  5. Click Return Not Necessary on the right.

  6. In the box that appears afterwards, put in the year range, leave the 'to' box blank for further 'Returns Not Necessary'.

  7. Enter in your MFA code and click Update.

  8. The Return Not Necessary Client Update should now be sent to the ATO.
