Access Tax - Authorisation and synchronisation between native cloud products in Access Tax

Updated this week

If the Integration Server is not authorised to access a native cloud product, then that product cannot be updated or modified by any other products through the integration. Authorisation within a native cloud product enables that product to send data or updates outward to other connected systems.

Integration Server authorisation is disabled, but Access Tax is authorised

If the Integration Server authorisation is disabled, but the Access Tax product authorisation is enabled, then the Integration Server cannot perform updates or synchronise data with any other products. However, since Access Tax itself is authorised, it can still function normally within its own environment and send updates to other products like Access Practice Management, Access Ledger, Practice Manager and so on.

Integration Server is authorised, but Access Tax is not authorised

If the Integration Server is authorised, but the Access Tax product itself is not authorised, then incoming data from other products will trigger updates in Access Tax, ensuring the latest information is reflected. However, any changes made directly in Access Tax remain local and do not push updates to Access Ledger, Access Practice Management, HandiSoft and so on.
